📦 Shipping & Frozen Food Policy
At LebaneseFeastUSA, all food is handmade, fully cooked, and frozen immediately to preserve freshness.
We ship using insulated packaging and dry ice to keep your order cold during transportation.
1. Shipping Time & Delays
All orders are shipped in the order they are received. Once your order is handed to the carrier (FedEx/UPS/USPS), we are not responsible for shipping delays, rerouting, weather issues, mechanical problems, or extended transit times caused by the carrier.
Delays are 100% the carrier’s responsibility, and we will assist you in filing a claim with them if needed.

2. Temperature on Arrival
Your package may arrive:
frozen ❄️
cold 🧊
partially thawed but still cold
This is normal with frozen shipments.
❗ If your order arrives warm or room temperature:
You MUST contact us within 1 hour of delivery, with photos of the items and packaging (dry ice bag, cooler, contents, shipping label).
Photos are required for:
a reshipment
store credit
or a carrier claim
Without photos, we cannot offer replacements, credits, or refunds.

3. Fully Cooked Items
All items are fully cooked before freezing.
Some thawing does not make them unsafe if they remain cold.
However, if items arrive fully warm, this indicates a carrier issue, and a claim will be filed with the carrier.

4. Carrier Mistakes (FedEx/UPS)
If the carrier delays or mishandles your package and it arrives warm, you may choose:
✔ A reshipment once the claim is processed, or
✔ A store credit
Refunds are not provided for carrier delays or temperature issues, as we do not receive refunds from carriers.

5. Incorrect Address or Missed Deliveries
We are not responsible for:
wrong addresses entered by the customer
deliveries left outside in heat
packages not brought indoors promptly
These issues are not eligible for reshipment or credit.

6. No Returns
We cannot accept returns of perishable food under any circumstances.

7. Chargebacks
By placing an order, the customer agrees to this policy. Filing a chargeback for issues covered in this policy may result in:
your claim being disputed with full proof of shipping
communication logs
photos
carrier tracking
We work with Shopify and the carrier to provide all evidence.
